How a curling session works

Don't worry if you've only ever seen curling on TV. Here's exactly what happens when your group steps onto the ice at Galaxy:

The delivery: you'll learn how to push off and glide the stone smoothly down the sheet toward the target. It clicks faster than you'd think.
The sweep: the part everyone loves. Brushing the ice in front of the stone changes how far and where it travels. This is where the shouting starts.
The strategy: curling is often called "chess on ice". You'll learn the basics of guards, takeouts and reading the house, so every end matters.
The game: then you play, team against team, with our crew on hand to keep it flowing. Warm, social, and most groups ask for one more end.
