Three teams, one trip
The whole academy on the road at once.
Dubai does not have a winter, so Galaxy goes looking for one. This October the club sends three squads at the same time, U10, U12 and U14, to the Istanbul International Youth Ice Hockey Cup: real ice, an international bracket, and a city built around a bridge and a skyline that belong on a postcard.
It is the first time Galaxy has sent three age groups to the same tournament together. Three sets of coaches, three benches, one flag.
Same flag, three teams, one flight to Istanbul.
The value of the trip
Three age groups, one hockey pathway in motion.
Three squads on the same flight show what a full program looks like in practice. U10 players earn their first stamp in a hockey passport. U12 and U14 players face opponents they have only heard about, on a full international sheet at İstanbul Buz Adası.
Every Galaxy team trains toward a trip like this one. Istanbul is proof the path opens at U10 as much as it opens at U14.
Three squads, three age groups
U10, U12 and U14, all wearing the purple.
Each Galaxy team travels as its own unit: its own coaches, its own bench, its own games against the international field. The tournament runs three days, 15 to 17 October, on the shores of the Bosphorus.
The full itinerary, kit and trip details go out directly to families who register. If your child plays in one of these three age groups and you want them on the plane, message us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the fit.
Format and schedule
Three days, four guaranteed games, one bracket per age group.
Group play runs 15 and 16 October, with every team locked in for four matches. Playoffs and finals close the tournament on 17 October.
Every player takes home a medal. Cups go to the top three finishers in each age group. A shuttle runs between the official hotel and İstanbul Buz Adası on match days.
